The Lost Boy of the Ozarks, the creepy and cautionary tale of  an unsolved murder, a dissolute and dissipated cub reporter, and the haunted child who changed that reporter’s life forever, is on sale today (Sept 18, 2012) in The Big Book of Ghost Stories (Vintage).

Also, All at Sea, my tale of a slow cruise ship to Alaska, a hundred aspiring marathoners aboard and the haunted magazine writer who annoyed them all, has been cited as notable in The Best American Sports Writing 2012,  (Houghton-Mifflin-Harcourt) on sale in October.

Finally, if you haven’t bought and/or read Eat and Run, My Unlikely Journey to Ultramarathon Greatness, by Scott Jurek (with me), what are you waiting for?
